Speak to Your Mountain

There are many of us going through trials, tribulations, and attacks by the enemy. Some of us have been going through for years and years. The Bible talks about a hope deferred making the heart sick. Some of us have even become depressed by those things we are going through. The enemy loves to convince us that we will never get out of these seasons. For that reason many of us have conceded to the enemy and given up on God. We fail to remember that we are sons and daughters of the living God. That we have power and authority over the enemy. God has allowed this season but that does not mean we are to lose hope or sense of purpose in it. We need to remember who we are and that we have the power of God in our mouths.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

One thing is clear here. We are to speak unto our mountains. God tells us to speak to our situations and to take authority over them. Do not let the devil continue to steal from you. Do not let him continue to defeat you. Take authority by speaking to your situation and commanding it to be removed from your life. In some cases, you have to speak to it repeatedly until it is removed. I think sometimes we get mad at God because it is not removed the very first time, but in reality, we should keep on speaking to the mountain until it is finally removed.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
We are to seek and keep on seeking. Knock and keep on knocking until it is opened to us. We are to speak and keep on speaking to our mountain until it is removed.

True faith does not waver based on what we see or feel. I believe that many of us struggle with our faith. We start testing God by speaking to our mountain but when we do not see instant results, many of us stop speaking to it because of discouragement. 
If you truly believe the word of God you will not stop speaking to the mountain. You will speak to it every day and all day until it is gone, because you believe what God says is true.

God’s word is true today, yesterday and is true forever. If God says it to us then it is so. I have faith to believe what He says. If He has said that we have the power to speak to our situation and it will be changed then I believe Him at His word. I will shout it from the housetops. I will speak to my health issue. I will speak to my financial issue. I will speak to my family issue. I will speak to my ministry issue. I will speak to my job issue. I will speak to my spiritual issue. And guess what? It will be removed. My situation will be changed. Why because God has said so.

It does not matter what it looks like in the natural. The power of my mouth will change my situation.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Many of us our speaking death to our lives instead of speaking to the mountains that are trying to stop us from serving God. We need to understand who we are and speak the word of God in this hour. I encourage you to speak to your situation today and command those mountains that are preventing you from serving God to go now in Jesus name.
